Ingredients

  • 120 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g chocolate (broken into small pieces or chocolate chips)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the chocolate: Break the chocolate into small chunks (or use ready-made chocolate chips).
  2. Mix the batter: In a bowl, combine the butter, flour, sugar, salt, milk, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and eggs. Stir well until you have a smooth muffin batter.
  3. Fill the muffin cups: Spoon the batter into muffin liners.
  4. Add chocolate pieces: Gently press the chocolate pieces into the batter (or fold them in briefly).
  5. Bake: Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes, until the muffins are set and lightly golden.
  6. Finish: Let the muffins cool slightly, then serve.
