More Apples Than Dough! Super Creamy Apple Pie! Cake in Minutes!

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a pie dish.
  2. Layer the apples evenly in the prepared dish, spreading the slices out so they bake uniformly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and melted butter until the mixture looks smooth and well blended.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then stir just until combined (avoid overmixing).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and mix until you get a silky, pourable batter.
  6. Pour the batter over the apples, making sure most of the fruit is coated and lightly submerged.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  8. Let the pie cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.

Serving Ideas

  • Top with whipped cream for a light finish
  • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a classic warm-and-cold contrast

Easy Variations

  • Mix in chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well)
  • Finish with a caramel drizzle for extra sweetness and richness

Creamy, quick, and full of apple flavor—this is a dessert you’ll want to make again.
