Flight 593 Crash Summary
The flight crew tried to regain command of the aircraft, but their actions led to an unintended overcorrection, forcing the plane into a sharp climb.

As the nose pitched up, the aircraft lost airspeed and entered an aerodynamic stall, followed by a spin that the pilots could not reverse.
At approximately 12:58 AM, Flight 593 impacted the Kuznetsk Alatau Mountains in Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast region, located in the south of the country.
