  • 2 whole cloves (or 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves)
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor and added benefits)

How to Make It

  1. Heat the water, then let it cool for a moment so it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the cloves (if using whole cloves, lightly crush them first). Steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the coffee and mix until combined.
  4. Strain the drink if you used whole cloves.
  5. Add honey if desired, and finish with a small pinch of cinnamon for taste and extra warmth.
  6. Drink it warm, ideally on an empty stomach in the morning for the best effect.
