  • 1 small beetroot, washed and chopped

  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ½ teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1–2 cups water (adjust to preferred thickness)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or stevia syrup (for added sweetness)

How to Prepare

  1. Soak the chia seeds in 2 tablespoons of water overnight.
  2. In the morning, wash the carrot and beetroot well. Peel the citrus fruits and prepare them for juicing.
  3. Using a blender or juicer, process the carrot, beetroot, lemon, and orange until the mixture is smooth.
  4. If you used a blender, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp (optional, but gives a smoother drink).
  5. Add water gradually—start with 1 cup and adjust until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Stir in the soaked chia seeds.
