Tiramisu Pudding Cups (Easy No-Bake Dessert)
These tiramisu pudding cups combine coffee-soaked ladyfingers with a light, creamy mascarpone filling—layered into individual portions and finished with a classic dusting of cocoa.

Ingredients
For the Cream Layer
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Coffee Soak
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
For the Base & Finish
- 12 ladyfingers, broken into pieces
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
How to Make Tiramisu Cups
1) Make the Coffee Layer
- Brew strong coffee and let it cool completely to room temperature.
- Mix in the sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in coffee liqueur, if you’d like a more traditional tiramisu flavor. Set aside.
2) Whip the Mascarpone Cream
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until airy and fully combined.
3) Assemble the Layers
- Add a layer of broken ladyfingers to the bottom of each serving cup.
- Spoon coffee mixture over the ladyfingers—so they’re soaked but not mushy.
- Add a layer of mascarpone cream.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the cream on top.
4) Chill, Finish, and Serve
- Cover each cup and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is best for deeper flavor).
- Right before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
Variations to Try
- Flavored mascarpone cream: Swap vanilla for almond or hazelnut extract for a new aroma.
- Chocolate boost: Add a thin layer of chocolate ganache or melted chocolate between cream layers.
- Fruit layer: Include fresh berries or sliced bananas for a bright, sweet contrast.
- Different spirits: Replace coffee liqueur with rum or amaretto for a new twist.
- Dairy-free option: Use coconut cream and a dairy-free mascarpone alternative for a vegan-friendly version.
Tips for the Best Results
- Don’t over-soak the ladyfingers: A quick soak (or light spooning) prevents a soggy base.
- Chill longer for better flavor: The dessert tastes more balanced after several hours; overnight is ideal.
- Use clear cups: Glasses or clear dessert cups highlight the beautiful tiramisu layers.
- Sift cocoa at the last minute: This keeps it fresh and prevents clumps.
- Adjust portion size: Smaller cups work well for dessert samplers or parties.
Storage Instructions
- Cover well: Use lids or plastic wrap to keep the cups from absorbing fridge odors.
- Refrigerate: Store for 3–4 days in the refrigerator; the flavor often improves over time.
- Freeze (optional): Freeze in airtight containers for up to 1 month (texture may change slightly after thawing).
- Thaw safely: Defrost overnight in the refrigerator—avoid thawing at room temperature for food safety.
