Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups (400 ml) heavy whipping cream (extra cold)
- 2 packs Maria cookies
- 14 oz (400 g) dulce de leche

Instructions

Whip the cream
Pour the cold heavy cream into a mixing bowl and beat until it becomes thick and stable—firm, but not overly stiff. -
Mix in the dulce de leche
Add the dulce de leche and continue mixing until the cream turns smooth and holds firm peaks. -
Build the layers
- Spread a layer of the dulce de leche cream mixture in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Arrange a layer of Maria cookies on top.
- Keep alternating cream + cookies, finishing with a final layer of cream.

Finish and decorate
Crush a few Maria cookies and sprinkle the crumbs over the top. -
Chill to set
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours so the dessert sets properly and the flavors meld.
